Deprecated #
We deprecated the Exit Prevention trigger because web browsers don’t support custom message alerts anymore.
Why did we deprecate the Exit Prevention trigger? #
Before Chrome (and other modern browsers) stopped supporting custom alert messages in 2017, you could use this trigger to display your very own custom browser alert.
Unfortunately, scammers loved this because they could trick people into clicking malicious (harmful) links that looked like official Chrome messages.
That’s why we deprecated (made obsolete) the Exit Prevention trigger. Please don’t use this trigger! We’ll remove it altogether in a future release.
